Hi David, Your header states 756pro/proII. Could you please advise did both of these radios give you problems on 6 meters or was it

WELL TOM, As I said,,,, it is right on my completed repair ticket from
ICOM AMERICA, INC Bellevue WA.. I don't put out garbage, hear say or
rumors, it's what happened to my radio (and some other PRO owners on the
reflector) and that is what ICOM said caused it.
On 6 m you tune the tuner manually, auto tune OFF. If you try it in AUTO
it searches and search and eventually it burns up the components I
mentioned.
When was the last time you called ICOM and got hold of or talked to an
Eng'r who knew all the latest problems out in the real world.?
I'd believe the people that work on the radio's every day rather than a
customer service guy/gal you get to talk to when you call in.
Any way Thats My Story And I'm Sticking To It....
Call the customer service desk and ask them and see what kind of an
answer you get. If it's I don't know call the service dept and I bet
you'll get a good answer. 73 Mac
