Wowy zowy, Mac. I've reread my message several times and I can't figure out
what I might have written that would have offended you. I didn't mean to
say anything that implied "garbage" from anyone. I was just commenting on
the "official" channel of communication at ICOM (if one exists!) You would
hope that if engineering was aware of a condition where the instrument could
damage itself, that the internal control software could/should be modified
to refrain from trying to auto tune on 6.
you were just telling it like it is to borrow a phrase from the ??70's -
