Hi Pete
I asked a similar question on MW sens for the 756Pro - you might want to
check the ICOM archives around Jan 22 of this year.
I'm assuming the ProII is similar but the component #'s are for the Pro.
They employ an almost 10 db attenuator in the MW BPF composed of R181, 182
and 183. Jumper R182. Remove one only of R181 or 183, not both (one needed
for switching diode bias). All SMT of course, so proceed delicately. This
helps a bit, but still not enough. Getting the internal preamp to function
down here would be complicated, on several levels.
