[Icom] 2 meter radios and rf overload

I am looking to buy a new 2 meter only or possibly a 2 m 440 dual band FM
radio.
I now have a IC 706mk2g that is a read dog. I have lots of problems with the
squeaks and squaks of over load in this area.
I also have a Yaesu FT 7100 that is a real dog also lots of overload also.
Since the manufactures want to make all band receive the new rigs seem to
have this problem.

My question is
Is there a rig now out on the market that does not squeak and squak with
this pager crud?
Or if not, will the DCI bandpass filters help with this problem?
