Unfortunately, this won't work, since the FT-817 and the CT-16 are
incompatible. It would take a CI-V to Yaesu CAT converter.

Doug Braun has a 16F84 programs for doing CI-V to a Kenwood radio, and
to rotators, but not to a FT-817. Look at www.dougbraun.com/ham.html

It would be better to have a CT-16 equivalent that could do multiple
types of radios, and at higher speed.

I'm using a IC706MKII and a MKIIG coupled with a CT-16 for AO-40.

   Hi,

I have a CT-16 satellite interface. Can any of you advise how a IC706 and
FT817 be connected through a CT-16 for satellite operation?

   Thanks your help in advance.
