[Icom] PS-701 mods

My PS-701 power supply, of course, doesn't put out anything like the =
13.8 volts that is stamped on the back panel. Its more like 18.6. Most =
sources suggest not using it with the IC-701, which is wise, but is =
there a mod anyone knows of to add a regulator circuit to the power =
supply or is there a way turn down the voltage  output? It would be a =
shame to junk it or let it sit idle if there was a relatively easy way =
to regulate it.=20
