[Icom] Problem with ICOM HM-56 hand mic

Hi, a couple of thoughts; is the mic compatible with your ICOM radio?
Check www.icomamerica/ click on "support" then click on "documents" and
finally "Microphone reference list" to see what radios this mic works
with. If it's compatible then I would check for a cable/wiring short or
shorted PTT switch, good luck, Ken
