Hi Steve,

To answer your questions:

1. There is a procedure on page 12 of the PW-1 user manual for setting up
the PW-1 to poll the CI-V port on the exciter. The CI-V "Transceive"
parameter in the "Set/Other" menu of the IC-756 must be "On". You can also
try initially setting the CI-V baud rate on the Pro to 9600 instead of
"Auto".

For the 10/12m information, go to: http://www.qsl.net/icom/manuals.html and
click on "Download IC-PW1 Documents".

Just put both of these in the shack. I don't know how to make the PW-1 auto
band change with the rig. I have the OPC-104B plugged into the ACC2 on the
rear of the 756 to the ACC1 on the PW-1 (have the exciter switched to 1 rig)
and also have the remote cable also in the correct holes according the
manuals. The amp works fine as long as I manually change bands.

One more thing....is there a website showing how to mod this for 10/12
meters? Thanks guys....Steve...W9SN
