Subject lines are not very explanitory.  I never read the things.

What upsets me is when someone puts "Free ICOM" in the subjects line and 
never mentions it directly in the body.

The writter goes on to say, "Would like some info on what I want."  Then I 
have to go back to the subject line.  Most good business letters have a 
subjects line then repeat such in the introdution of the body of the letter.

Another thing that happens with e-Mail is that the thread moves slightly, 
slightly, and slightly so that the subject line does not even resembles the 
body or text.  Too me the main thing is to make the main statement in the 
intro to the body.

I bet you read this because it has your subject line,
