[Icom] ICOM Service Center Problem

The Icom techs tend to be pretty good and if they couldn't find
anything, I seriously doubt they simply did nothing. I know that what you
experience happens to me when I hook up a radio to a coax switch when the
switch is not selected to that connector. I get a received signal until I
touch the shield connector to the switch box, then get no signal. However,
I do get a signal when I then select the proper connector.
If what you say happens the same everytime, it would sound like it may
be an antenna switch problem. You're sure you are connecting the HF antenna
to ANT1 and not listening to HF while connecting something into ANT2?
You might also plug a wattmeter and dummy load into it and TX at
minimum power for a VERY BRIEF keydown and see if the meter moves.

Try this with ANT1 and ANT2
