[Icom] ICOM Service Center Problem

Please excuse if I speak about the obvious.
It seems to me that report from Icom that the problem has to be some where=
=20
with your coax or the antenna. Have you tried putting an ohm-meter across=20
the center pin to the shield to see if there's a short? Have you tried=20
another antenna and/or coax?
I'm just throwing out random thoughts.
