Compressors I very seldom use. If I do I keep the compression at less than 5
db.............manuals usually say up to 10 db but if I use the compressor I
still keep it down to 2-5 db and only when working a DX station where copy
is marginal.

thanks for the info ,will give it a try on the 775. How much do you use the
comp. Ive never used the comp. on most of the rigs I have owned, mostly I
just rag chew,very little contesting.
