I'm using a DEM 222 MHz transverter and the combination is great.  I am using
one of the antenna jacks and the keying line at present but I am putting
together a box to switch between transverters and the xransverter jack.   I
just obtained a 2 meter transverter and hope to have it ready for the Leonids
next month.
   I'm using an old IC-271A with a Mutek receiver board installed for 2m but I
suspect the 2m transverter + 756 PRO should be a better performer if it is
anything like my 222 MHz experience.
