Along those lines, a local ham (K5VU) used to work for Delphi,
a division of GM. He was the guy who did the RFI testing, in
both directions. I do not know about today, but a few years
ago I can be sure any GM product was good to go. He did the
testing just across the border, in Juarez, MEX.
The point is, I cannot believe that any other company doesn't
have something nearly the same. Toyota will be definitely OFF
my list of new care if they produce such a noisy vehicle
and will not help you quiet it down.
