Doug, while locating and eliminating the noise is the preferred approach, I 
wonder what a Clear Speech speaker/dsp filter would do to your noise. If 
you can get your hands on one to try, it might be worth the effort. I use 
one with my 707mk2g in a 2000 Buick and the noise reduction is 
considerable. I wouldn't be without it. Good luck.
