[Icom] IC-756Pro II power off

I just have a PRO. My method is I have a computer control box with the
switches on the front, a master and 5 others. The master turns all
off. One of the switches is to the poer supply that is to the PRO. When I
turn on, I turn on the master which has the power supply always on. Then I
wait for awhile then turn on the PRO. That is the same for the 2m rig,
also on a power supply. Turn on the power supply then the rig. I thought
that the 2 switches (one with surge) would help if any large surge came along.
Yes, I think that since modern rigs have processors the best is to turn
them on and off with their own switch. Then turn off the power supply
otherwise.
