The FL-80 and the FL-44A (or Inrad 109) are an excellent upgrade choice. You
may still be able to locate a FL-80; FL-44A's are rare. The Inrad 109 is a
good cross for the FL-44A.

I do not normally recommend the Inrad 9 MHz filters, as unlike the 9 MHz
units they are not mechanically compatible with the Icom filters. They need
to be wired in with coax jumpers; this can lead to blow-by.
