[Icom] a little r7000 whine ..

Thanks for the chessey comments on my 7000's whine.  :)

On suggestion was to check to see if the dimmer control made a
difference.  Oddly enough, the whine started about the same time that
the illumination for the signal meter failed.

Dave - I'll check the supply voltage, however it does seem to be a
time/heat issue.  If I let it set for 10 minutes or so and then turn
it back on, I get mabey 3 or 4 minutes before it starts.

I know I may sound like a sissy .. but the frequency and the pitch is
really excessive for me.  I'd like to get it fixed so I can use the
radio.

Any more tips?
