[Icom] Frozen Send relay - 756

Actually, all the Icom manuals I have come in contact with say 16V DC/2 A
with a additional note that "if this level is exceeded, a large external
relay must be used." If that your correct, no external relay would be
necessary.  Clearly, it is misinformation and NO-ONE (I know) has ever
gotten a straight answer from Icom yet.  When I talked to them they said,
"Our transceivers are designed to operate with our amplifiers ONLY."  Adams
website pretty well explains the situation with Icom internal relays and the
confusion that exists.  Bottom line, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound
of cure.
