[Icom] Use of memories

Probably the least sophisticated memory use is to set up all the
frequencies in all the bands that you normally prefer. In effect, the
memory control becomes your bandswitch with possibly a large number of
frequencies stored in what amounts to a glorified "band-stacking" register.
The advantage here is that the memory contents do not change with tuning.

I have always used the memories in my IC-765 in this fashion. Although I
have not set up the PRO this way, I think that I will since the content of
the band-stacking registers changes as you tune around each band.

I suspect that others can suggest even better uses for all those memory
locations.
