Another good way to interface to an amplifier is to use a solid state
interface such as one found at http://www.qsl.net/k0bx . It's for a
Kenwood but can easily be adapted to an ICOM using one of the accessory
outputs. I use it with my PROII. This will eliminate any possible keying
delay in the external relay, if any exists.
