On the display module - Icom received a bad batch of LCD modules from the
vendor. This problem particularly affects older IC-756's (S/N < 2000). Icom
Service in Bellevue, WA will replace the module for you for around $160 +
labour, or you can order it and replace it yourself - you will need the service
manual.
