Thanks for the tip about the PIEXX RAM module.  Have you any experience with
this particular one?  Have you installed it?  Does it extend the RX range
like the Willco board does?

If you change the battery on the 761 you must devise a way of keeping 3volts
to that module. Otherwise, not only will you lose memories but the operating
system of the radio. Then you would have to send it off to ICOM for
reprogramming. For $70 bucks, I would recommend buying a new ram module from
PIEXX www.piexx.com and you wouldnt have to worry about that problem again.
