[Icom] New 5.24 Mhz Band - Will Icom modify rigs?

It might be 5 years before the band is available for ham use. You might not 
even have the rig then!

However, I'm sure there will be some "young" hands around to handle it for 
you should that prove necessary.

And, as I have often written, early adopters pay a price for their quest to 
have the latest and greatest. It often means not having everything you could 
have had if you had waited. But, then again, if having the latest and 
greatest means so much, I suppose the cost of frequent rig acquisition is 
secondary!
