[Icom] 756PRO blank screen

Dear Icom fans:

I have a relatively new Icom 756PRO serial number 3569.  It was the last one 
in inventory at HRO Atlanta.  It is only a month or two old.  Has worked 
flawlessly until last night.  Rig was on most of the day when I noticed a 
blank screen.  Full audio, full transmit just a blank screen.  Rig was in 
receive almost all the time yesterday but still quite warm - as they normally 
get.   Tried turning it on and off several times but screen still blank.  
Came back this morning after 10 hrs off.  Turned it on and got just a slight, 
weak flicker of the calibration screen - maybe a fraction of a second - then 
blank but receiver turned on normally.  Tried on and off a few more times and 
still a blank screen.  Never got even got it to flicker on again.

Any suggestions before it get packed up and sent to Washington?  Is there any 
place closer than Bellevue, Washington that will do warranty repair?
