[Icom] TS940 VS IC751A

Hi Xu,

I had an IC-751A in my station from 1991 until 1995. It was an excellent
radio; the only repair it needed was replacement of the plastic VCO tuning
trimmers with ceramic parts. Unlike the TS-0940, the IC-751A does not have
an internal auto-tuner option. An Icom accessory auto-tuner such as the
AT-150, AT-100 or AT-500 will interface with the IC-751A.

There have been reports that the TS-940 has a noisy synthesiser, and that
its main board is subject to fracture due to its large size.
