Fellow listers,

Thanks to everyone who responded with advice, both pro and some con, on and
off the list.  This reflector is a very friendly place and typifies what
ham radio is all about.  I called my friend at the local ham store and I'll
be picking up my 756ProII, Astron DM-330 power supply and SP-20 speaker
this Saturday.  I hope to have my antenna up within another week, depending
on my machinist friend getting my bracket finished.  Hopefully, I'll be
talking to many of you on the air and definitely in time for the Memorial
Day holiday weekend.
