I, too, have a PROII and a Mark V - I planned to use the Mark V for DX
and contesting with the PROII as the second rig for SO2R and primarily
for 6M and routine ragchewing. As it has turned out, I now use the
PROII as my primary rig for DX and contesting - my personal choice -
the PROII is a pleasure to use. I use it with the PW-1 which is
totally transparent. I have previously used them all: (775, 756, 756
PRO; 1000, 1000D, 1000MP) and I operate quite a lot. For chasing weak
DX, the PROII works best for me. My 2 cents.
