I think that if you cannot trust what Icom Tech service
says, we might all be better off with Ten-Tec gear. At least
you can talk to a real, live person who has, so far, never
failed to either answer the question or get me to a real,
live engineer for the correct answer.
Icom ought to take a look at the way Ten-Tec handles
questions, maybe, although I do understand Icom is a huge
company compared to T-T.

this is really amazing...the relay issue with icom...
when I got my pro 2, and almost destroyed the relay, i
installed an external
relay to key my amp. PERIOD. Knowing that the icom relay is
very light duty,
i wasn't going to experiment with a kilobuck rig and chance
anything...either
buy one, make one, or don't key any amp other than an icom,
cause it will
just cause problems...and if the icom support people have
given different
answers at times, why chance it!
73's and gl to all..Larry..N2LH
