I sent George a couple of diagrams from the service manual.  I'm sure he'll
appreciate any other comments from anyone that has disassembled the rig!

OK, I give up. I bought a new front panel for my IC-756PRO to replace a
scratched one. I started trying to take the front panel off and after a hour
or so I gave up and put the thing back together. Couldn't get it off without
a crow bar. Something is holding it around the left front as best I can
tell. I un-soldered some of the pads I figured were holding the PC board on
so as to get to the back of the front panel to see what's holding it.
What is the secret to removing the front panel?
