[Icom] IC756PRO_REPAIR_FRONT

OK, I give up. I bought a new front panel for my IC-756PRO to replace a =
scratched one. I started trying to take the front panel off and after a =
hour or so I gave up and put the thing back together. Couldn't get it =
off without a crow bar. Something is holding it around the left front as =
best I can tell. I un-soldered some of the pads I figured were holding =
the PC board on so as to get to the back of the front panel to see =
what's holding it.
What is the secret to removing the front panel?
