[Icom] 756Pro II & PEP Output

Sean, look at the SSB r-f envelope output with a scope and see if your
voice peaks are driving up to the key-down 100-watt level on the scope. If
they are, your modulation level is OK and what you are seeing on the meters
may or may not be correct. My PRO shows about 75 watts max peaks on the
analog meter when I am consistently and frequently hitting 100 watts PEP
with voice signals. 

I will forward to you a copy of some tests I ran recently with my PRO and
four different mics.
