Whatsz youze needz youse... is a "form" .. I learnt this back in 9th grade
metal shop, and the first part of the semester was about plastics... we had,
at the school shop, a large oven .. and WWII surplus plexiglas was next to
free, for the instructor to buy out of his supplies account .. we would
design what we wanted to "create", then heat the plastic in the oven, and
the carefully make it conform. I made several things of this nature for
hamming stuff, in the 60s and 70s, when I was in my "construction mode" ..
HI .. XYL did not like my scheme, but, whatta hey. Another hint .. I tell
everybody that wants to run mobile, while their vehicle is pretty new, go
buy the parts NEW from the dealer, for the area you wish to "modify" -- that
way, you can drill, cut, etc. to your heart's content the dash piece you
want, and still have the new one sitting on a shelf in the garage to replace
your "mess" when ready to trade-in or sell the rig down the road.
AS to the plastic .. our local Ace Hardware dealers have a variety in stock.
