That's probably a common characteristic in many different hf rigs. Some are
more pronounced than others. As I recall the noise blanker in the PRO,
unlike the PROII, is not adjustable either.

I just received my Icom IC-756PRO and everything works fine except for the
noise blanker. When I engage it I notice it puts rough edges on some of the
SSB received signals. I've had NBs on other Icom rigs such as an IC-736 and
that rig didn't create problems with the received signals.
Any ideas?
