[Icom] Need help with mobile intallation of my ICOM 706 MKIIG

Hi,
I would like to go mobile with my ICOM 706 MKIIG.Ideally I realize that =
ideally I should hard wire the rig directly to the battery.I have =
"explored" the firewall of my 2000 Taurus sedan and have conluded that =
getting the harness to the battery appears to be no easy task.

I would appreciate any and all suggestions and "encouragement" anyone =
might want to offer.

One thought that comes to mind would be the installation of an =
auxilliary battery in the trunk.I would also welcome any thoughts =
regarding this.In particular ideas for charging this battery etc.
