[Icom] OPC-589 wiring

I recently purchased a 709MKIIG (Wow, what a sweet radio!) and a friend
suggested I buy the OPC-589 mic adapter cable. So now I'm wondering what to
do with it. Are the pins wired in a one-to-one fashion, i.e. pin 1 to pin 1,
pin 2 to pin 2, etc.? I'm a little surprised they didn't include a simple
diagram with the adapter. I can ring it out, but if someone knows, it would
save me the trouble.
