When I first got my PRO Last September, I checked the RF output on an
oscilloscope to make sure I was not hot-switching my QSK AMP. I could watch
the CW output ramp up and decay down as I keyed. I changed the CW keying
time constant throughout its range and could see the effect on the
rise/decay. It was performing "as advertised" - definitely softer keying as
I lengthened the rise/decay. I left mine set at the mid-point. Years ago
when I operated mostly CW, I preferred to listen to "soft" keying.
