[Icom] DSP for the older IC275H????

Joe again, I contacted a ham who had two of these for sale and he said they
had just come back from Icom where the repair tech there enabled or hooked
up.....how ever you want to put it... the DSP on both rigs. He said at the
time of their release and sale, Kenwood had a patent on something that kept
Icom from enabling this feature on the Icom 275H at the time. Now I don't
know why the guy would lie about that and that is why I asked the question
to get some confirmation from some of the veteran Icom folks here on the
reflector. I can only go by what info I have been given and again I see no
reason why this guy would lie about something like that!! 73, Steve
