Don't waste your money on a AH-2b whip. They are way over priced. You can
do very well with a standard ball mount or similiar with a standard
st/steel whip from 60" to 108" long. Mine does great with this very setup.
I run the 5ft. whip for local 6m and 10m and switch to the longer whip
for real DX fun. Keep the AH-4 as close to the whip's mount as you can, a
couple of feet away max. (preferably a couple of inches away max).
