[Icom] Strange IC-765 40 meter problem

California must be the opposite. Using wire antennas suspended by trees.
Once they are up, they work fine.  It is just a question of getting past the
trees/heat.   It is 95+ in the shade and there are lots of 50'+ pine trees
available for wire antennas. Every shot with the slingshot to string a rope
seems to get fouled up.  Then there is the poison oak to walk thru. But, the
antennas work very well once they are up.  Waiting for some ice/wind to come
