Wait a minute!!!!
Two years ago I needed significant repair to my Log Periodic in February
in New England after a major ICE, WIND, SNOW storm. It's a special
design feature of all aluminum antennas to require service in the worst
possible weather. [a stainless steel self tapping screw failed under the
ice load. A $0.15 part and two hours on the tower {cold hands}]
