antenna to the body of the car. Make sure the body is bonded to the engin=

Hi all, I have an IC-706MKIIG running mobile with a Hustler on a mag-moun=

on the trunk of my car. It's been fine with the 17 meter resonator, but I=

just tried it with the 20 meter resonator and after a couple of seconds o=

PTT down, the radio powers down completely. The SWR is low, so my only gu=

I don't want to damage the radio and I'm not sure what to do about it. Th=

side of the hustler is grounded - the mag-mount is covered with rubber to=

protect the car's paint. Could one of both of these cause trouble? Has ou=
