Tomas, I control a 756PRO and a 765 from my CT-17. I use two control
programs. One is TRX Manager which is an extensive control program that
will control just about every aspect of the PRO or PRO II. The other is the
digital comm program - MixW 2.0 - which also controls Icoms via the CT-17
as well as other radios using their interfaces.
The CT-17 will network up to four Icom radios using the CI-V command set
and protocol. Look in the back of your PRO II manual for a list of CI-V
commands and other info.
There is no specific program for the CT-17. It requires that the computer
driving it to run whatever program the user wants and which can generate
the commands and responses to "talk" with the radios.
I do not know of any program other than TRX Manager which will do as much.

for details. You can download a demo for a limited time trial, then the
registration is $69 but well worth it!
MixW is a multi-mode digital comm program that is also at the top of the
heap in my opinion, and I have tried them all. I use it for PSK31 mostly,
but it will do about 20+ modes, including CW. Extensive macro construction
capabilities allow you to construct custom controls for your radio
functions, etc. Cost $50 for registration but download free demo at
http://ham.kiev.ua/~nick/mixw2/MixW20.exe
I highly recommend both these programs as the cream of the crop. With them
I can operate my PRO almost completely from the computer in any mode,
including SSTV, CW, SSB (with an audio link - I use a cordless telephone
which operates into the radio mic jack).
