Hi Andy,

I would strongly advise against increasing the power output of your
IC-756Pro above the design rating of 100W.

IP3 (3rd-order intermodulation products) will rise to an unacceptable level,
and you will risk damaging the RF power transistors in the PA.

If you require a little more power, you should drive a 500W linear amplifier
with the 756Pro. The Icom IC-2KL is an excellent, reliable solid-state 500W
amplifier, and can be found on the second-hand market together with its
companion AT-500 autotuner.
