Andy, the best advice anyone can give you is to leave your PRO alone! It
was designed and built to deliver 100 watts under specified conditions of
loading and with certain specifications for distortion, etc. Any effort on
your part to squeeze a few more watts out will have negligible effect on
the outcome of your use of the radio and will probably just result in an
increase in distortion products.
If you need more than 100 watts, then you need to use an external
amplifier. If you need an additional 10 or 20 watts to drive an existing
amplifier, I suggest that you would be better off either being content with
its present performance or trading it for one that requires a lower input
power.
Sorry to sound negative, but yes you can probably find a pot to adjust and
get a few more watts out of the radio, but for what purpose?
