Dear Caity,

I have the 502A also with the battery charger gizmo. At the Shelby hamfest
last year, I asked several of the NiCad people (1) if they had some N-900C's
and (2) if not where to find them.

I was told by at least two of the battery people that N-900C's had not been
made for several years and they had no clue as to where to look for them.

If you find a source of N-900C's then please let me know.

Subject: [Icom] Source for Icom IC-502A bits

Hi, everyone,

I've acquired a really nice, clean, working Icom IC-502A. (Yes, I
know... I have a soft spot for the old bookshelf portables. :)

First, I am missing the DC power cord. This is the one with the strange
three pin female molded plug on the end, which kind of looks like a
triangle with the corners shaved off. Icom only used these on the
IC-505, IC-502A, IC-202A, and IC-202S. Kenwood used them on the battery
backup connector on the TR-9000, TS-660, and TR-50. Does anyone eith
have a spare cord or else does anyone know of a source for the cord
and/or connector?

Second issue: I have the BC-20 internal battery charger, which seems to
be in good working order. The N-900C batteries are shot, though.
Anyone have a source for N-900C NiCad or NiMH batteries?

Thanks in advance for any help or leads on finding these items.

73,
Caity
