That's a great idea!
I have a pair of ASA headphones.  Not as nice as the Clarks, but still very
good and a close second to the ANR Clarks I tested in the plane.  I'll try
mine out on the Icom too.
I also have a Shure SM7 and Symetrix 528E combo which is connected to a
Collins S line and sounds wonderful to all those who listen.  But I want to
move this gear over to my newly acquired Icom 781 and test it out.  I am
sure it will sound even better than my trusty old ElectroVoice 607 or 638
dynamics.
