[Icom] Heil Goldline & VOX

Good morning, all [and GONG XI FA CAI!]

I have been following this thread and find it interesting that nobody
has mentioned the in-line mic pre amp.  I have a Heil Pro headset/boom
mic and was tearing my hair out [not to mention going hoarse shouting
into the mic with it nearly in my mouth] trying to be heard.  I have
since purchased the pre amp and am now able to speak normally.

Using the pre amp may help those having trouble with the Goldline and
VOX.
