Hi Tom,

I have the HMM-IC and use it on both my IC-746 and 706 (requires an adapter
8 pin to RJ-45 style).

I have received excellent reports and all agree that it is better than the
stock mike.  Other than the fact that the cord is a bit short, I like it a
lot.

Has anyone tried out the Heil HMM-IC hand mic for mobil use on an IC-706?
I'm thinking about getting one, but want to hear (so to speak ;-)...) actual
