Hi, Joe.

My understanding is that NiMH batteries require a different charging 
schedule than NiCd batteries.  I bit the bullet and bought one of the newer 
chargers that handles NiCd, NiMH and LiIon and relegated my faithful BC-35 
to boat anchor status (nice to look at, but limited practicality).

The chargers I bought were the dual-cup variety that would charge the 
batteries for my IC-32ATs and Yaesu FT-50s.
